Human Resource Development and capacity building, in the present power scenario, demands a very comprehensive and pragmatic approach to attract, utilize, develop and conserve valuable human resources. Considering that the need for training in the Power Sector has acquired critical importance, National Training Policy for the Power Sector was notified by the Government of India vide letter No. 3-15-2001/T&R, dated 7.6.2002.
